Blue Monday

I found the sweetest, tiniest buttons at the thrift store today:

 
I can't even imagine what they would be used for, can you?
I have been embellishing my latest crop of pillows I made from vintage and antique fabrics with some of my pretty buttons, too.

My first thought was doll clothes. Since they are vintage they may have been for baby clothes. I don't think people/companies would use them for that today. Choking hazard... They're mighty cute though!
