Scrabble Decorated Button Boxes

Button Boxes can be found at I LOVE buttons!!!!! I love hunting for them, collecting them, & using them in art/craft projects. These sweet little button boxes started out as plain white cardboard containers. I believe they were originally intended to hold ice cream. They measure 3 1/2" in diameter x 2" tall. I added some vintage buttons to the tops & vintage Scrabble tiles spelling out the word "buttons". Surprise ~ inside you will find 1/2 cup of vintage white buttons!

Buttons For The Bloggerette Sorority...

I love using vintage buttons in my creations. This is my most recent cushion, which I made for the "Rush" event for The Bloggerette Sorority Challenge. You can click here to visit my blog and read more about my cushion and the event.

It's June and Love is in the Air!

I found Lillybuds Bespoke Bridal website via a link from their Etsy shop .  Oh my goodness: they make bridal bouquets out of buttons !  Feast your eyes! (Swoon...) All photos are from the Lillybuds website and are used with permission.  Thank you, Lilly Liza!

Hi everyone! I'm Bev from 44th Street Fabric . I'm a long (very, very long) time sewer and quilter and button lover. Thought I'd start sharing photos of some of the wonderful buttons I found in an estate collection that I understand was started in the 70's! There are so many buttons that we decided to divide them up by category. Many of the buttons shown here in our "houses category" are ceramic. It's so much fun to dig through these and sort them out--it has taken hours! The photo isn't artistic but I hope you enjoy them! Please visit our blog and enter our giveaways--you might just find some buttons there! Cheery wave!
