Fun at the Flea

I had a great time at the flea this morning. One of the sellers that I visit frequently had some buttons bagged up. She said she always sees buttons and passes them up but decided to try them this time, I think I made her happy she did. She asked me what I did with them and I told her I use them in my art but love to just have the white ones around me...in bowls, jars etc....
She just giggled at me and shook her head.....
Am I the only one who is this happy with buttons?
If you would like to see what else I got at the flea, hop on over to my blog! Happy Sunday! karen....

Among the many wonderful Christmas Gifts from my Big Sister last Winter was a glass jar of elderly and vintage buttons. I have used them, perused them and thought about them more than I care to admit. :) Button Fanatic, Robin

You are not alone. Those wonderful little bits and pieces make me super happy. Nothing cheers me up as much as sorting new buttons.

what a treasure you found!!

wanted to hop over to your blog -- but no link in the post -- and I can't find you in the button floozie list - might be nice if they would alphabetize that list and make sure that your "posted by name" matches what's over in the list

I have JARS & JARS of buttons and since reading your blog now I know I'm a sworn floozie!!! Some of my buttons were on my clothes in the 50's... after saying that I feel REAL old ....but all the buttons are so pretty and they bring back such lovely memories, some of them are off my childrens clothing that I made for them..
