A Valentine button giveaway

Thank you to wonderful Gerry, who is a Floozie and blogs over at Olderrose, for providing this beautiful hand painted button as a gift for one of you!
It's a beautiful original painting done by Gerry.
She painted it on a 1-3/8" plastic button
(although it looks like pearl, doesn't it?)
Simply wonderful, and I can't thank Gerry enough for giving it to one of you!
Be sure to visit Gerry's blog and read how she paints them on her tutorial.
Or, visit to see some of her spectacular crazy quilted art.
If you can't wait to win this button, you can always buy one or 12 in her Etsy shop!
Here's how to get a chance at this button:
  • Leave a comment on this post ONLY and that is your entry!
  • The winner will be chosen via a random number generator on February 7, 2013
  • Please be sure that your comment links back to your email address, either on your Blogger profile or an email address that is easy to find on your blog.  If it doesn't, you must leave your email address in your comment so that we can contact you if you win!
  • The winner will be announced on this blog on February 7, 2013 and we will also contact the winner via email; if we don't hear back within 48 hours of contacting the winner, an alternate winner will be chosen!

In my thrift shop journeys I have found several hand painted mother of pearl .... sweet delicacies known as buttons. I am thinking of ways to use them on another scarf this year to celebrate Love. Have a beautiful weekend. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
