Button Floozies

This was a vintage button that I found at a church yard sale. It was in a large jar of all kinds of buttons. It is worn, a little discolored, and imperfect...that is why I like it. This button has glass faceted accents, and they are set in a heavy plaster-like molded button. Check It Out...

Here are 3 buttons from a jar with hundreds of vintage buttons.  Check these out: They have the look of little nests of fresh pasta. They are made of resin and plastic. They really stood out in the jar of buttons that I found at a church yard sale. I am not sure of the age, type, or origin. Do you have any information on this type of button?

I recently found this jar of buttons at a church yard sale. The little jar was filled to the top with a variety of buttons. I dumped them out on a plate to see what was inside. There were many different buttons. You gotta love these yard sale finds!  Thanks for Looking!

Here are a collection of buttons that I purchased in a mixed bag at a local thrift store. Did anyone attend the National Button Society Annual Show in Portland this month?  I didn't, but have seen some marvelous photos from it, and would love to hear more from anyone that was there! I love to sort my button finds in these old, divided dishes.  Above, the contents of a $1 button jar that I bought at the Mile Hi Flea Market in Denver, yesterday.  Nothing rare or exciting, but it was worth $1 to me for the fun of sorting through it! The silver toned button bracelet/cuff is a little treasure I found from a different vendor at the same flea market.  It's a crocheted band that's complete covered by buttons -- and I love it!  It set me back $2.50, and is sitting on a piece of quirky old fabric that I asked the guy to throw in!
