I love the white buttons. I am a firm believer that nearly every project needs some beautiful buttons. Right now I'm working on a stamp project that I'm framing. The frame will have a few buttons on it as part of the embellishments.

How wonderful is that? I tend to create with flowers, dishes and food...my strength isn't in arts and crafts. I am however really interested in what others can do. I've never seen anything like this before!

Thanks for your recent visit. It is so hard to watch what happens to our parents. I lost my mom very quickly last spring...it still shocks me that she is gone. Now with the in-laws both failing quickly it feels as if we are on a roller coaster. I am sure your life has ups and downs with a parent living with you.

I'm delighted to see you drop in at LAWN TEA!!! And I DID almost burn down the kitchen of our first apartment, by making a pot of tea on the unaccustomed electric stove, setting the kettle back on another burner, and moving a pretty plastic bowl to the still-hot one.

Suddenly it went WHOOOOOSH, and the damage I did with that powder fire extinguisher is probably still being found behind baseboards and in cabinets.

I'm going to go get a link to my friend Jeanne's button posts---her aunt, an antiques dealer, has thousands, mostly made into panels and art and pictures---exquisitely beautiful creations---all of buttons.
