Christmas Decoration Swap

I took part in a Christmas Decoration Swap on Folksy recently & my contribution was this button heart. I made it using festive red & green vintage buttons from my stash, finished off with a red polka dot ribbon....

That is so cute! I tried sorting festive colours from ly stash and found myself very short of green. I suppose I could make a red and white one, or a red and MOP one, perhaps!

Love Love Love all the vintage buttons. My mom just told me the other day I could have my great grandmother's button jar. I was so happy to hear that. I just dont think I will want to use them. They are too special. They ment alot to my grandmother to have her mother's button collection.
