Grandma's treasures.......

On saturday, hubby and were out garage-saling and after I had purchased a couple of goodies from one house and started to walk away, I spotted this little treasure! The tin alone made me happy!
But then I found that it was filled with vintage sewing goodies and lots of buttons....yippee!
There were also needles, thread, cufflinks and garter clips...... fun! fun!

OH MY!!! This is the first time I've been to your blog and I cannot get over the button greatness! My wee daughter would just go crazy over all of these....when I say 'wee' I mean it, she's just a tyke. But, she spends HOURS sorting through my buttons! I suppose I'm just as tickled by them as she. :> Looking forward to visiting again! :>

That tin is gold!!! The findings inside are like icing on the cake! Garters??? LOLOL!!!! Does that take me back to my grandmother's time? Just think about this little box and its contents' history! So many items were probably created with so much love from these little treasures. If only they could talk!!!
