Hello, I am Deborah over at Vintage Soul . I am really new to blogging but I have been visiting this blog and many others for several months before deciding to take the plunge. Buttons are among my favorite things and I love it that all you guys love them as much as I do. It's so much fun to come here and visit all your blogs and see how you use buttons in your work. I love the creativity. I have lots of buttons - have been collecting long before I knew there were others as crazy as I am. I call it crazy because most of us don't actually collect collectible buttons but even the humble run of the mill generic ones. I store my buttons all over and as creatively as possible but here are my current favorite storage options:

two vintage apothecary jars with blue and green buttons

Vintage apothecary jars bought at a thrift shop several weeks apart. I tell you I was stunned to find the second one. They are not common around here.

Here is something I create using my buttons.

pink and cream button pots

I call them button pots. They are really small about 2.5 inches tall with a little pincushion on top.

Don't those red buttons just look so luscious?

WOW... Karma... I have buttons that were my Grandmother's.. pry my Great Grandmother's that I was about to pitch in the burn heap.... Glad I see that people use them for something...

Now I need to find a way to give them to someone...

I hate throwing stuff away.. but I'm really not in to buttons... again so glad I found this site.

Cute idea for button enthusiasts and collectors of cute vintage things. BUT I WANNA KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THE BIRD ON TOP? My mother used to have 2 like this that were christmas decos. I own one of them now and am so glad I didn't through it out when it got old and shabby.
