Delightfully Colorful

I cannot resist a colorful bag of buttons especially when they're bought with a 50% off coupon at Michael's. I sorted them with much delight. Although I love every color the same, I love this one the mostest:
Oh, and this one:

Oh wow, these are all so wonderful!! I would have grabbed up the bag too! The daisies are gorgeous, and did I see a blue star in there? Just divine!

I had to laugh. The photo with all the buttons organized in color reminded me of my little rose bud (daughter). She loves to organize just like daddy (can anyone say OCD). She would not only organize them by color but by size within the color and then know how many of each there were in each pile. Thanks for the funny reminder of the precious things in life. -Mr Blessings

Oh, I love visitors! Thank you all for your nice comments.
Mandapanda, you sure did see a star!! Isn't it a cutie?
Counting your blessings, lol! I hadn't thought of size. You shouldn't mention things like that to OCD people like me. Your daughter has a good idea there! :)
Leah, I'm so glad you came by here and my blog! I love visitors there, too.
Many hugs to you all!

I love me some buttons, too. I do organize them into colors and then the subdivisions--shank, 2 hole, 4 hole, etc. Then I mix them up and resort into sizes. My prize buttons are the clam shell ones made up in Muscastine, Iowa.

What a great assortment of buttons! It brings back wonderful memories of my grandmother and her button tin.

What joy, bright and colourful assortment to begin with, then sorted piles of beauty, followed by some delicious close ups.

I have to admit that I too find that organizing my supplies, particularly buttons into groups based on color, is one of the most satisfying things to do.
