Button Floozies

...and now it's official! I'm Laurie, aka Indulge Your Shelf , and am thrilled to be among this group of people who love buttons as much as I do! The story of my love of buttons began like so many of us -- by rifling through my mother's button box in and making piles of my favorites.  Fast forward to when I was a newlywed, and shopping in Alton, Illinois with my mother-in-law; at a junk shop, I found a cool old tin full of buttons for $5.  Inside were some of the most wonderful examples of buttons from the early 1900s.  I've been actively collecting ever since.  I love to craft with my buttons, and find just the perfect one to embellish one of my projects. Very recently, I joined the Colorado State Button Club, and learned that my button collection is not as exquisite as I once thought.  I've seen some breathtaking buttons in my short time with the CSBC.  I now aspire to learn all I can about the buttons I have. Enter buttons. Now, I originally started hoarding buttons with the excuse that they were going on my family scrapbook layouts.
