A button bracelet

Whenever I find these bracelets for sale, I have to rescue them!  They were popular in another era: a crocheted band with buttons sewn on.
This one looks like someone has been harvesting the buttons from it -- but still had so many beautiful glass buttons, silver colored metal buttons, and even glass painted with silver, left!  I got it at an estate sale for $1.  Joy!

I would sew a few on to the blank spots and then wear it. It would look great with any outfit. :-()

Yeah, I would wear it, too! I must have missed the time when these were popular. I don't remember it, anyway.

Wow! I've never seen a bracelet like that. What a cool find, and how lucky you are to have found other ones like it before. I'll have to keep my eye out a little better!
