Photos of buttons and button art for collectors and others who love them. If you have fond memories of poking through your mother’s button tin, you have come to the right place!
Hi fellow floozies! I thought I'd share some of my favourite old button cards with you. How adorable are these blue and green flowers, and the red celluloid grapes - almost good enough to eat! More lovely buttons here! Cheers!
I love the old button cards and have quite a few myself. I have the Bluebird one, but mine only has a few of the buttons on it. I used an image of it to make a fabric postcard for a swap. You can see it here:
Dear Viv Lyn! So happy to see that you are a Button Floozy! Such a fun blog to visit. I am most happy for you to send me a block, and I will send you one in kind. I may be a bit slower than you because I am making many, but send it to you I will! I am having the most fun with this project and hope you will as well! Elizabeth
These are great button cards! I have resolved to not removing buttons from my cards, as they are little works of art! I posted on the Button Floozies Flickr page, but wanted to put this open call out to the button lovers:
I'm doing a new blog (atomsatwork.blogspot.com) feature w/people talking about their relationship w/ buttons, would you be interested in doing a survey for it? If so email me at atomsatwork@gmail.com Thanks!
