Hello, everyone. I've been collecting buttons for a long time and the large tin I've been putting my whites was filled to the brim. I've been sorting them the last two nights while watching tv with my husband and I'm not done yet. I use a lot of buttons in my art works and I'll post some soon. I'm gonna love this site! Hello my fellow Button Floozies!!! I was at a friend's house for dinner recently and I flipped out over her daughter's little jeans! I took some pics for the express purpose of sharing them with you because they are so fun and SO SIMPLE! Check out the cuffs. (Her daughter is pretty darn cute, too!!) Here's a closeup. You could even use buttons in the same fun way on adult jeans with some rhinestone and black vintage sparklies, don't you think? And they would be really great on capri pants, too! My name is Kelly Aaron and I'm a mosaic artist in Kansas City and I use buttons in my work all of the time. This box features a plastic button that appears to have glitter locked inside on the bottom left corner. The gold ball on on the far middle right is also a button! There are all sorts of pink and black buttons sprinkled throughout this cork board. They add just the right accent! I stuck some green buttons in this round box, including the one with the large ...

Hello, just to introduce myself on here, I'm Tina of Mollimoo ( http://mollimoo.blogspot.com/ ) and I am a very happy button addict! I may even go so far as to say I'm in button heaven and all of my button Birthdays have come at once!! I visited some charity shops today and I bought some buttons. Some lovely old buttons. They are most definately vintage, still on the original cards they were kept on when they were used or sold in a Milliner's shop. Some of them are on the original cards, others are on the shops own business cards. One has printed on the back 'Easter 1940' and a name of a hotel in Bournemouth,Dorset, England. They were in a charity shop in Poole, Dorset. Here they are. I didn't think my day could get any better but then I went into another charity shop and found 3 bags of buttons. I couldn't resist them. I was able to spend the weekend with my Mom and Dad in North Dakota. One of the things Mom and I always do is pull out her button collection and play. She's told me that I can have all ofher buttons, but I always say, no, I want us to have buttons to play with the next time I come to visit. I did take this nice group of mother pearl and these funky warm colored buckles and carved buttons.
