I can't make out the name of the maker but she is amazing! I wish I had the patience to sew that many buttons onto one item. I thought you would enjoy seeing this wonderful work of art!
I love this bag....it is to die for and would be so much fun to take to dinner or theater. Love It! Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
Hi Laurie - I was doing some blog surfing tonight and I ended up here - drawn to this blog by your great name! I love buttons - and this is just unbelievable to be here - a blog totally about buttons.
This purse is absolutely stunning - I would just love to have such a creation - (can you imagine how HEAVY this purse is?) Not sure I have the patience to sew on all those buttons - but WOW - what a creation!
Button Floozies is devoted to buttons and the women who love them. For many of us, button love began when played with our mothers' and grandmothers' button tins as children and has grown through the years. The Button Floozies blog is written by many contributors; they are listed below under the heading "Button Floozies". Whether you collect, or just admire, all things tiny and fabulous, join us as we show our treasures, and the things of beauty we create with buttons! -- Laurie buttonfloozies@gmail.com

MMMmm wonder if I have patience to sew that many buttons on, it is gorgeous!
Love the bag and buttons and the coordinating fabric. It must weigh a lot. Great inspiration...
I saw this bag someplace, on Pinterest perhaps. I remember being impressed when I saw it the first time and I am still impressed.

Wow -- she said it took her 4.5 months. I can't imagine having the patience to put this together! But I'd love someone to do it FOR me! LOL! :)
What a gorgeous bag and such a treasure with the hours spent on it ;-)
