Button Bouquets

Springtime! Flowers! Lovely blossoms that will last! I have been making "button bouquets" using vintage buttons, text from an old dictionary, scrapbook paper, vintage salt & pepper shakers/creamers/sugar bowls and discarded/broken old pearl necklaces.

I love the button bouquets...they are darling! What a wonderful way to display a collection that I am not sewing onto my quilts quite yet. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

So pretty! I love the ones made with the dictionary pages, although somehow I always feel bad cutting up books, even if they're old and no longer fit for reading.
