Buttonoholic Brooch

Hello button friends!

I've been having a mental block lately. I couldn't seem to come up with any new ideas for my makes. I asked for some advice from the lovely peeps on the Folksy forums, who said the best way is to stop thinking about it (along with lots of other good ideas for inspiration!).

So I just sat down, surrounded myself with all my scrummy, colourful buttons & made this little brooch. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out & have listed it in my Folksy Shop http://folksy.com/shops/Chumley.

I just wondered what inspires you? Would be really interested to hear where you seek inspiration for any creativity.
Feel free to catch up with me on my blog 'Mollimoo Makes' by clicking on the title of this post.
Have a great week
x

Love the brooch, beautiful colors kind of like a rainbow!

You know what keeps me inspired?

Going blog surfing! Finding out what other talented ladies are doing with their creative skills. Just like how this post is motivates me to sit down and surround myself with all my colorful paints!

I tend to find inspiration in crafting magzines and catalogs. Sometimes just seeing a nice color combanation on something gives me an idea for a project. I love Somerset Studio and Creatink Keesakes magazines in particular.
