Just wanted to share "Edith" who is my submission to the One Image challenge at 14 Secrets Happy Artists. Lani hosted the challenge to embellish a vintage image which she chose for the entire group. Each artist's interpretaton of Edith will be placed into a zine to submit to Somerset. Of course, I added a few buttons to the paper flowers!!! Buttons...lovely buttons...

Here are a small collection of children's
buttons on cards made by Beutron in the

company producing buttons for all the
About me - I am thrilled to be able to join
the Button Floozies group. I am an Aussie and
I collect all things to do with sewing, knitting and
crochet, and because of the collections, we had
to find a bigger house - so we are currently
in moving house mode!

cards, but I prefer the carded buttons because

I recently sorted out my buttons. I came across these and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. The clear ones feel like glass, they are a heavy button. The ones on the paper are metal. You can see one of them has tarnished. The other one, shaped like a tear drop, is bone I think? Not sure about that. Just a wild guess.
