Button Wreath~

Nothing like a button wreath to get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season!I used a styrofoam wreath form which I covered in white felt and then some cheese cloth to give it a little more body. I hot glued all those buttons on one at a time....overlapping them to cover any signs of fabric. It took me five hours and 6 long glue sticks. Here is a close up of the wreath~I still have two jars left of that color of button *girls got the buttons!!* I've got the wreath hanging from the knobs of an old handmade hutch that I picked up for a whopping $10 bucks from one of our local thrift stores-- the milk glass is also from various thrift stores & yard sales :-)

Cheryl, that is awesome! How many burns do you have on your fingers! Me and hot glue guns don't get along at all. I hurt myself everytime. I'd love to see a close up shot of it.

It's beautiful and looks perfect right where it's hanging among all that gorgeous milk glass :D

Hi! I just found your site. I was actually intrigued by the name, Button Floozies, when I saw it recommended on Kudzu's wonderful blog site. I too love buttons! I don't get to work with them as much as I'd like to, I'm usually toting a drill and hammer, but think this winter may bring me to a nice indoor button project.
Fun place!
Peace,
Ki

The wreath is adorable, but I've got to tell ya, the milk glass and the shelf edging REALLY caught my eye; it's ALL beautiful.
